In this section Dr Tipton
will illustrate how cosmetic imaging can transform a smile. By assessing
a number of celebrity smiles, and using cosmetic imaging he will demonstrate
how ones smile can be transformed before any treatment is undertaken,
seeing the results instantly.
“ 4 out of 10 people are not happy
with their smiles and 8 out of 10 desire a change in their smiles” M.Sesemann

Everyone loves Cilla, but her smile and teeth are often subject to
debate. Her front crowns are too long which means she has to stretch
her mouth to smile which looks unnatural. By reducing the height of
these front crowns the smile instantly becomes more natural and appealing. |
|
Although she is the ex-presidents wife, Hilary still needs to have
her teeth improved as this photo shows. Often known as the ‘British
Tooth Disease’ – missing premolar tooth, the side photo
shows just how devastating missing a back tooth can be to a smile.
A simple implant and crown and tooth whitening would give her a great
smile. |
|
Tom is often voted as having one of Hollywood’s’ best sexiest
smiles. However a close up look shows that Tom’s centre line
is almost a full tooth to his left hand side, his gum line is crooked
as are his remaining teeth. In the cosmetic imaging the centre line
has been moved with orthodontics, gum line sculpted and veneers placed
on his upper front teeth. |
|
Nicole is one of the most beautiful and sophisticated women in the
world. But because of a short upper lip she has a gummy smile when
smiling widely and naturally – she doesn’t do this for
fear of exposing all that gum. Some gum sculpting could certainly improve
her smile and encourage her to smile more naturally. |
|
Andy has a very gummy smile with very short teeth, which she seldom
shows. But all she needs is tooth whitening and gum sculpting. Just
look at how good her smile could be. |
|
In this photo Julie shows an uneven gum line, with the teeth on her
upper left hand side overgrown (overerupted) and two slanted front
teeth. In the cosmetic imaging the gum line has been sculpted and 10
veneers placed to give a stunning smile. |
|
Meg has some small teeth, these are quite irregular and badly worn
down on the biting edges probably due to grinding and clenching (bruxism).
In the cosmetic imaging, a beautiful smile has been achieved by some
gum sculpting, tooth whitening and veneers. |
|
Chris has very poor looking teeth and old crowns, which are crooked
with gaps, they are also badly worn. Just look how much better his
smile would be if he had it attended too. By simply replacing his old
crowns with new one and whitening his natural teeth the end result
is amazing. |
|
Robbie has very worn upper front teeth, probably due to clenching and
grinding (bruxism). His front teeth are now very square instead of
being oblong giving a reverse smile line. By simple veneers on his
front teeth the result could be stunning as the cosmetic imaging shows. |
